Frequently Asked Questions
Does it support regular expressions?

Yes. Enable Regex mode and enter any valid JavaScript regular expression. The replacement field supports capture group references like $1.

How do I delete all matches without replacing?

Leave the Replace with field empty and click Replace All. Every match will be removed.

What does whole-word mode do?

It adds word boundary anchors around your pattern so it only matches complete words. For example, cat will not match concatenate.

Is the text sent anywhere?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser.
