Frequently Asked Questions
Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.

Which image formats are supported?

Any format your browser can decode: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, and more. The download is always saved as a PNG.

Will adjusting hue and saturation degrade image quality?

The tool works at the pixel level converting RGB to HSL and back. Small adjustments have minimal quality impact. The output is saved as lossless PNG so there is no additional compression loss.

What do hue, saturation, and lightness mean?

Hue is the color wheel angle —shifting it changes all colors at once (e.g., red becomes orange or purple). Saturation controls color intensity —higher values make colors more vivid, lower values make them grayer. Lightness shifts the overall brightness of the image toward white or black.
