Frequently Asked Questions
What is a stop word?

Stop words are common words like 'the', 'a', 'and' that appear in almost every text and usually aren't meaningful for frequency analysis. Enabling the filter removes them so you see only content words.

Does it count only English words?

The tool tokenizes on word boundaries and works best with Latin-script text. It does not currently handle CJK or other scripts that don't use spaces.

Is the text uploaded anywhere?

No. Analysis runs entirely in your browser —nothing is sent to any server.

What is the maximum text size?

There is no hard limit. Very large texts (10 MB+) may be slow depending on your device.
